2 Inch Celtic Bird Cuff

So, I wanted to try out a new pattern and try some new dying techniques. When I got my first coat down, I was pretty unhappy with it. The design was too hard to make out. It just sat there in my unfinished work bin .. nagging me.

This last weekend I was like, whatever .. let's try this new finishing wax out. So, I put another layer of brown gel antique on it, aged the edges with a little black dye and put a couple of coats of this product from Tandy I had never used before. 

Well, the color just POPPED! I love how the coloring came out. I think the design is still too hard to make out, but I figure I will just keep it for myself to wear.
